Set up your account and create your first vendor assessment in under 10 minutes

Welcome to Ezy Risk!

This guide will walk you through the essential steps to get started with vendor risk management. By the end, you'll have sent your first security questionnaire to a vendor.

Create Your Account

If you haven't already, start by creating your Ezy Risk account:

  1. Go to Sign Up and enter your email address
  2. Create a secure password (minimum 8 characters)
  3. Verify your email address via the confirmation link
  4. Create or join an organization

Add Your First Vendor

Navigate to the Vendors section in your dashboard and click "Add Vendor":

  1. Enter the vendor's company name
  2. Add a primary contact email address
  3. Optionally add notes or categorization

Choose an Assessment Template

Ezy Risk comes with pre-built templates for common security frameworks:

  • ISO 27001 - Information security management
  • NIST CSF - Cybersecurity framework
  • SOC 2 - Service organization controls
  • GDPR - Data protection compliance
  • Quick Due Diligence - 30-question rapid assessment

Go to Templates to view and customize these, or create your own.

Create and Send an Assessment

Now it's time to send your first security questionnaire:

  1. Go to Assessments and click "New Assessment"
  2. Select the vendor you added in Step 2
  3. Choose a template (we recommend Quick Due Diligence to start)
  4. Set a due date for completion
  5. Click "Send Assessment" - the vendor will receive an email with a secure link

Review Results

Once the vendor completes the assessment, you'll receive a notification:

  • View the automatically calculated risk score
  • Review individual responses and any uploaded evidence
  • See identified security gaps and remediation recommendations
  • Generate PDF reports for stakeholders
